A retired research scientist, primarily in the field of space technology, including rocketry. Born in 1942 in the United Kingdom, I'm married with two sons, both in their late 20s. A life long collector of stamps and philatelic literature, I served my FIP apprenticeship in Literature at London 80 International. Subsequently, I served on the jury for the first official Literature All World Exhibition (Milano 1982), and has been appointed to over 20 International Juries. I was appointed Honorary Assistant Librarian of the Royal Philatelic Society London in 1977, and became Honorary Librarian in 1979, a post I held for 16 years before being elected President in 1994. During my philatelic 'career', I have been Chairman of my National Federation and have held many other posts within UK Philately. Nowadays I concentrates on literature, Cinderella philately, and revenues, but is also qualified in the fields of Traditional, Postal History and Astrophilately disciplines.
